The 39 Steps -- Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a
dash of Monty Python and you have the intriguing, thrilling, riotous, unmissable
comedy smash straight from Broadway, The 39 Steps. A cast of 4 plays over
150 characters in this fast-paced tale of an ordinary man on an extraordinarily
entertaining adventure.  Starring Steve Kretzer, Laura Morris, Branden Bise,
and Ken Thompson

The 1940's Radio Hour is a musical treat full of 1940s big-band music, swing
dancing, patriotism, and old-fashioned sound effects. Take a musical sentimental
journey to a bygone era as you experience this "live" radio broadcast from the Hotel
Astor's Algonquin Room on December 21, 1942. The spirit of that bygone era, when the
world was at war and pop music meant "Strike Up the Band" and "Boogie Woogie
Bugle Boy" (both are in the show), is accurately captured as the harassed producer
copes with a drunk lead singer, the delivery boy who wants a chance in front of the
mike, the second banana who dreams of singing a ballad, and the trumpet playing sound
effects man who chooses a fighter plane over Glenn Miller.
“TRUE WEST” by Sam Shepard
CCP favorites Branden Bise and Ken Thompson face off as two feuding brothers—a
wild alcoholic loser and a successful suburban screenwriter—when they co-inhabit their
mother’s house while she’s gone on vacation.   It’s a wild comic and dramatic ride by
two of Central Missouri’s finest actors.
MAN OF LA MANCHA!
In an effort to protect himself after being thrown into prison during the Spanish
Inquisition, Miguel de Cervantes tells his fellow prisoners the comic and dramatic
story he imagines in another world - the story of Don Quixote of La Mancha and
his loyal servant, Sancho Panza. The duo set out to rid the world of evil, battling
windmills and honoring the serving wench Aldonza as a lady. Honor, romance,
nobility, and chivalry reign in this classic musical featuring one of the most
inspirational musical theatre
songs of all time, "The Impossible Dream."  One of
the longest running hits on Broadway.
BEEHIVE THE 1960’s GIRL GROUP MUSICAL!  Remember when hair was
hard and life was easy!  This Major Musical will have you dancing in your seat as we
learn the journey of women through the girl groups that spoke for a generation. The
Shirelles, Brenda Lee, The Chiffons, Lesley Gore, The Supremes, Connie Francis,
Petula Clark, Lulu, Dusty Springfield, The Shangri-Las,  Tina Turner…and more!!

AVENUE Q - Tony-winning musical Avenue Q is the hilarious and heartfelt story of a
bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York with big dreams and little money.
He can only afford to live on Avenue Q but—good news!—his neighbors turn out to
be a remarkably funny bunch of characters.  It’s Sesame Street for adults as CCP
musical entertainers become the puppet characters of “Avenue Q,” the wonderful
new musical that is breaking box office records throughout the country!
Songs for a New World is an emotionally charged pastiche of
contemporary songs ranging from pop/rock to gospel, swing to
funk, as well as heart-twisting ballads which celebrate the
resilience of the human spirit. Jason Robert Brown, one of
Broadway’s smartest and most sophisticated songwriters, gives an
exquisitely crafted score and lyrics shot through with wit,
intelligence and enthusiasm.
